4. ‘CYCLES’
‘Cycles’ Moving Image, Exhibition Screening, 2025
Displayed on the dome at the Stardome Planetarium, Cycles is a short-form experimental motion piece created by manually sanding down and scanning each rock iteration using a stop-motion technique, forming a surreal timelapse that visualises the slow transformation of rocks over time.
Cycles was part of an exhibition curated by Whitecliffe’s final-year Digital Media and Design students — a collection of short-form motion works exploring different interpretations and visualisations of the theme “Cycles.”
